After finishing up their food at Above the Dot, Eli paid for his nachos that he shared with Imogen and then the two were off to the underground carnival. The boy couldn’t believe that they were actually headed to this place; seeing as how it wasn’t like Eli to venture in to the ravine at all. “I…
“I haven’t had cotton cady in like…forever!” Imogen smiled as they walked to the ravine. The weather seemed to get a little warmer but nonethe less it was still pretty chilly. Hopefully the carnival would be in a tent. She thought as she swiped her hair from her face.
As they got closer to the ravine it seemed like the world got darker. Imogen had only been to the ravine once during the daytime to take pictures. In the middle of her random thoughts Eli put his arm around her shoulder by surprised. She moved a little closer to him so it felt less awkward as she felt the warmth of his body. She looked up from her feet towards the trees as she noticed little specks of lights peeking from the trees. “Hey I think that’s it!” she squinted as she pointed at the light.
